Sterlings Profile

Sterlings is not an ordinary "company" in the conventional sense of the word, it's more of a "bridge", a "community" where likeminded people can work with and for each other. Sterlings is virtual and so has no boundaries. Sterlings is it's people.

Sterlings is being founded for three primary reasons: -

to offer customers the opportunity of being put in contact with the right people to meet their specific needs;
to offer professionals, and technicians alike, a platform from which they can market their expertise and a "stepping stone" to professional independence; and
to facilitate a formal and informal network of truly exceptional professionals and technicians for mutual support, development and growth.

Sterlings wants to create a "media" where people meet people so they can do business. Where the most important asset - people - are the boss.

Our purpose is to connect people, professionals ands customers, because they are the right people for the job.

Sterlings presently support a small number of Associates all of whom are professionally qualified and experienced in their respective fields, but numbers are growing rapidly.

Our platform is not all that novel for it really only underpins a tried and test approach to marketing professional skills and matching them with the particular needs of customers. Sterlings offers both provider and user with the opportunity of getting the people they want and need for the job, cost effectively.

Sterlings Professional Associates Ltd started out being mostly from the construction industry, Chartered Engineers, Programme Specialists, Chartered Quantity Surveyors, Chartered Arbitrators, Accredited Mediators, experienced draughtsman and the like. Increasingly we are becoming so professionally diverse that we now have lawyers, accountants, graphic designers, forensic claims consultants, Architects, mechanical engineers, licensed scuba divers, trainers (in many different fields), Quality Assurance practitioners, safety specialists, Expert witnesses, translators, property consultants, land surveyors and the list goes on... and on.

Each Associate has direct assess to all the other Associates and is familiar with the particular field of the Associates expertise. This allows Associates to market each other. It's like having hundreds of partners whom you trust and who you can refer customers to for help. You can joint venture, job share, form permanent ventures, Sterlings Professional Associates belongs to the Associates not the other way around, so Associates can operate in what ever form is appropriate.

So we have no "bosses" because we all work for each other. Sterlings is "employed" by the Associates, after all Sterlings without the Associates would be merely an empty website. But with the Associates we believe Sterlings can become one of the leading providers of professional and technical services.

Our founder believes that the traditional framework of consultant, in-house expert and outsourced skills is out dated. All facets of the construction industry have to become more cost effective, more competitive. Sterlings Professional Associates offers a way in which to fill work requirements with the right people.
